This year, the Festival’s theme is “High-Tech on the High Seas: The Evolution of Maritime Culture and Technology.” Learn about capstans, the 1907 Hercules’ powerplant, and other “engines that made a difference” while sampling traditional music from internationally renowned acts and local performers on three stages at Hyde Street Pier. This is a chance to “Find Your Park” on the San Francisco waterfront!

Family-friendly activities will include: knot tying; rigging, caulking, steam bending, and rope-making demonstrations; a small boat launch; sail raising; living history performers; kids craft stations; and more.
